Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania Expands Administrative Team

Communities in Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania relies heavily on program managers to ensure that all processes run smoothly when working with students. Program managers oversee site coordinator efforts in schools, build relationships with school district leadership, and ensure data is collected and reported with fidelity. Rebecca (Becky) Keller is CISEasternPA’s newest program manager as of January 9, 2023.

Becky was formerly a site coordinator at Kutztown, Fleetwood, and Brandywine Heights Middle Schools. In her new role, she oversees all of the site professionals in Berks County.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Psychology, focusing on Child and Adolescent Development. She has devoted much of her personal life to championing mental health and providing a safe space for youth. She was a caseworker for children and families in the foster care system for over fifteen years and a student assistance program specialist for Caron Treatment Centers. Additionally, she has previously worked at Allentown School District and Berks County Children and Youth Services, where she created parenting education and reunification programming. She recently celebrated her one-year work anniversary at CISEasternPA.

“Becky consistently displayed her dedication to the mission of CISEasternPA during her first year as a site coordinator,” says Migdalia Garcia, director of operations. “We have already seen her continue this passion into her role as program manager, which is essential to our success as an organization. Putting a strong leader, like Becky, over our Berks County sites allows our site coordinators to feel supported, encouraged, and empowered in their work with students.”
