We measure our success by the results we are able to achieve for the young people we serve. We carefully evaluate all aspects of our programs, and use that information to constantly improve.

The CIS Data Management System (“CISDM”) is an online database implemented by Communities In Schools National across its network of over 100 affiliates. Our site coordinators use CISDM to document all components of the CIS model. It is a tool central to our work in schools, customized to measure success specific to the CIS model.

Beginning in 1995, the Communities In Schools National network developed quality and assurance standards that guide operations at affiliates, like CIS of Eastern PA.

Over time, these standards have evolved to ensure the highest quality student supports and business standards called Total Quality System (TQS). Among TQS Standards are requirements for data verification, quarterly reporting, and annual end-of-year reporting - which means we are always reviewing results and adjusting our services throughout the school year.

TQS ACCREDITED

In 2019, CIS of Eastern PA completed all requirements for Total Quality System re-accreditation, which establishes our affiliate as a trusted and effective service provider.
