CIS Board Member Spotlight: Reggie Romain

Reggie Romain, Sales executive at ADP, has been a member of the Communities in Schools of Eastern PA Board of Directors since January 2021. He first learned about the organization and its mission from a former board member, David Jones. A meeting with Communities in Schools of Eastern PA President and CEO Tim Mulligan drove Reggie to get involved on the Board of Directors; Tim’s passion for kids and the organization was contagious. Reggie specifically felt connected to the vision of helping children reach their potential and graduate high school with a diploma.

As a board member, Reggie ensures that CIS of Eastern PA operates according to its by-laws and oversees the organization’s finances. He is also part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion sub-committee, which focuses on the DE&I strategic initiative for CIS of Eastern PA. He says his work on this sub-committee is some of his proudest work as a board member.

Reggie is gratified to be part of an organization that makes a difference in the lives of children in Lehigh Valley and Berks County. He says, “I count it a privilege to serve on the board of CISEPA, and the opportunity is humbling.”

Reggie enjoys spending his free time with his wife and seven kids. He serves at his church on the prayer team, as a guest services team leader, and on the elder board. He also loves to weightlift, run, cycle, and work on home improvement projects.
